Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 1 pound of diced potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Steak seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon steak sauce optional

Instructions

  • Add diced potatoes to a 400-degree preheated air fryer, drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over potatoes and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. (use as much or little seasoning as you prefer) Give the potatoes a shake to combine everything and allow them to cook for 20 minutes. (shake the potatoes every 5 minutes to allow every piece to cook thoroughly)
  • Cut ribeye steaks into cube shaped, equal bite-sized pieces, add to a bowl and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season the steak with your favorite steak seasoning and toss to combine.
  • In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons butter and allow to melt.
  • Once the skillet is hot, add steak and allow each piece to sear 1-2 minutes before flipping, if you prefer more well-done steak adjust cooking time accordingly. Once finished cooking, remove steak and reduce heat to lowest setting.
  • Add 4 tablespoons butter to skillet, allow to melt and add garlic, cook for 1-2 minutes then add parsley and combine.
  • Add potatoes, steak and steak sauce to skillet and combine.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  •  used store bought pre-cut refrigerated diced potatoes for this recipe. If you prefer to use fresh, make sure you wash the potatoes well after dicing to remove excess starch and dry them well prior to air frying. If you use frozen diced potatoes, make sure they are thawed and dried well prior to air frying too! The last thing you want is soggy potatoes for this dish!
  • If you do not have ribeye steak on hand, you can substitute with any cut of beef that has decent fat marbling.
  • If you wonder why I do not place measurements for seasoning, I prefer to allow you to be the judge when it comes to that because everyone has different taste preferences. Also, I usually never measure the amount of seasoning anyways.
  • When searing your steak, make sure not to overcrowd the skillet. You want each piece to have that nice pretty crust and that is best achieved by giving your steak some breathing room.
  • Adding steak sauce is totally optional, I just love the flavor of it, so I add it to a lot of meats I eat.
