Tip and Tricks for Baked Ranch Chicken

  • Cooking Time: The best way to avoid overcooking, use an instant-read thermometer to ensure your chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. This helps keep the chicken tender and juicy.
  • Crispy Bacon: For an extra crispy finish, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end of the cooking time.
  • Avoid Soggy Bacon: When reheating try to avoid using a microwave as this will cause the bacon to be soggy.
  • Perfect for Low Carb Meals: Serve this low carb dish with sides like roasted vegetables or green beans to keep your meal light and nutritious.
  • Meal Prep: If you’re planning for busy weeknights, make extra and store in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven for a quick and easy dinner

How To Store Leftovers

  • Refrigerate: Store leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for 3-4 days.
  • Reheating: Reheat in the air fryer or regular oven to keep the bacon crispy.

FAQ

  • Can I use chicken tenderloins instead? Yes! This recipe works great with chicken tenderloins, however be aware that they will have the tendon still intact which can result in “chewy” pieces.
  • What sides pair best with this recipe? For a balanced meal, serve with roasted green beans, baby carrots, or sautéed bell peppers.\
  • Can I grill bacon wrapped ranch chicken? Yes, you can! Preheat your grill to medium heat and cook the bacon wrapped chicken for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. For crispy bacon, finish on direct heat for a few minutes.
  • Can I cook this in the air fryer? Absolutely! Place the chicken in a single layer in your air fryer basket and cook at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway. The air fryer will give you crispy bacon while keeping the chicken tender and juicy.
