Tip and Tricks for Minute Cheeseburger Rice

  • Different Proteins: Swap the lean ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version of this easy recipe.
  • Add Veggies: Incorporate diced bell pepper, mushrooms, or green onion for added texture and nutrition without overpowering the classic cheeseburger flavors.
  • Spice It Up: If you love a little heat, sprinkle in some extra cayenne pepper or top with jalapeños for a spicy kick.
  • Extra Cheesy: If you’re a cheese lover, feel free to add more cheddar cheese or mix in different varieties like Colby Jack or Monterey.

How To Store Leftovers

  • Refrigerate: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat: Reheat the bacon cheeseburger rice in a large pan over medium heat until warmed through. Add a splash of water or broth if it seems dry.
  • Freeze: You can freeze this dish for up to 2 months. Just let it cool completely before placing it in a freezer-safe container. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
