Tip and Tricks for Juicy Cheeseburger Sliders

  • Make Ahead: You can assemble your Hawaiian roll cheeseburger sliders ahead of time and store them in the fridge. This is a great way to save time on busy school nights or weeknights when you don’t have a lot of time to cook. Just bake them when you’re ready to eat!
  • Customize Your Toppings: The beauty of sliders is that you can easily customize them with your favorite toppings. Try adding dill pickles, or even a drizzle of homemade burger sauce to really maximize the flavor.
  • Bacon Hack: For the crispiest bacon, bake the slices on a baking sheet at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Once done, remove the bacon from the grease right away and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  • Hawaiian Rolls:  King’s Hawaiian Rolls are the perfect choice for making your slider buns. The sweetness of the rolls pairs perfectly with the savory bacon and ground beef, giving your sliders an unbeatable flavor balance.

How To Store Leftovers

Refrigerate: Store leftover bacon cheeseburger sliders in an airtight container to keep them fresh. These sliders can last up to 2-3 days in the fridge. For an easy snack later, reheat them in the microwave or oven.

FAQ

  • Can I use ground turkey instead of ground beef? Absolutely! For a leaner option, ground turkey works well and still gives you a great flavor. You can also experiment with a mix of ground beef and ground turkey to get the perfect balance.

  • What should I serve with sliders? French fries, sweet potato fries, or a simple side salad are perfect accompaniments to these sliders. You can also serve them with a homemade dipping sauce for added flavor.

  • Can I make sliders ahead of time? Yes! You can assemble your Hawaiian roll cheeseburger sliders and store them in the fridge until you’re ready to bake. This makes them an excellent choice for busy school nights or parties where you need to prep in advance.

  • How do I prevent the sliders from being too greasy? To reduce excess grease, make sure to drain the ground beef and bacon well after cooking. Use a paper towel to soak up any remaining fat from both the meat and bacon, so your sliders aren’t overly greasy.
