Oreo Chocolate Mousse Pie

This Oreo Chocolate Mousse Pie is an easy no bake dessert that is sure to be a crowd pleaser! It only requires a hand full of ingredients and can be thrown together in minutes which makes it a go-to in my house.  

 

Ingredients

  • 2 – 3.4 ounce boxes of chocolate instant pudding 
  • 1 – 8 ounce cool whip 
  • 2 cups whole milk 
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream 
  • 15 Oreo cookies, crushed 
  • 1 Hersheys chocolate bar, shaved 
  • 1 – 9 inch chocolate pre made pie crust 

 

How To Make Oreo Chocolate Mousse Pie 

 

To make this pie you will start by adding both packets of instant chocolate pudding into a large mixing bowl. Then you will add 2 cups of whole milk and two cups of heavy whipping cream. Half-and-half may be used in place of whole milk and heavy whipping cream. If you are using half-and-half, the recipe measurement is 4 cups. Use a hand mixer to combine and mix until it starts to thicken.  

Next, place 15 Oreos into a zip lock bag and crush the Oreos into pieces. Add most of the crushed Oreos into the mousse mixture, but make sure to save some to garnish the top with. Now fold the Oreos into the mousse. Pour the mixture into the pie crust and spread it out evenly. Top the pie with cool whip and garnish it with the remainder of crushed Oreos and chocolate shavings. Stick the pie into the refrigerator for 3-4 prior to serving this delicious Oreo Chocolate Mousse Pie.

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl add both packets of instant chocolate pudding. Add milk and heavy whipping cream. Use a hand mixer to mix until the consistency thickens. Add most of the crushed Oreos but make sure to leave some for garnishing the top. Fold Oreos into the mousse mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into the pie crust and spread it out evenly. Add the cool whip to the top of the pie and spread out evenly. Garnish the top with more crushed Oreos and shaved chocolate. Set in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours before serving. Enjoy!
