Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook pasta per package instructions. In a large skillet over medium high heat add olive oil and onions. Allow onion to cool for 3-5 minutes until they start to soften. Add ground beef and Italian sausage. Cook the meat until no pink is visible, thrown in minced garlic and allow to cook for 45 seconds then drain off any excess grease. Season meat with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
Add marinara sauce, 1 cup of cheese, and sour cream to the skillet and stir to combine. Once combined add the cooked pasta and mix with the meat sauce.
Transfer pasta to a 9x13 casserole dish and top with remaining cup of cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve & enjoy!
