Beef Stroganoff Hamburger Helper

This Beef Stroganoff Hamburger Helper is a quick and easy family favorite at my house! It features a creamy ground beef sauce combined with tender pasta which can be made in less than 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ yellow onion diced
  • 1 ½ cup baby bella mushrooms sliced
  • 1 ½ pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 10.5 ounce cream of mushroom soup
  • 12 ounce bow tie pasta

Instructions

  • Cook pasta per package instructions, drain and set aside. (add a few drops of olive oil and stir to prevent sticking) In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter and allow it to melt. Add the onion and mushroom and sauté for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until no pink is visible within the meat. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30-45 seconds then drain off excess grease. Place meat back into skillet and season with garlic powder, onion powder and salt & black pepper to taste.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, sour cream, cream of mushroom, beef broth, and pasta then stir until well combined. Seve and enjoy!
