This Cheddar Bay Hamburger Casserole combines the savory flavors of juicy ground beef, gooey cheese, and garlic butter biscuits for a delicious one-pan meal.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, add the Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix, water and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Mix until well combined and set aside.
In hot skillet over medium high heat add the ground beef and onions. Cook until no pink is visible within the meat, then drain off excess grease. Season meat with onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Add 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, sour cream and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Stir to combine and smooth off the top of the meat mixture.
Scoop out the biscuit mixture on top of the meat mixture using. Be sure to make about 5-6 “biscuits” on top of the meat mixture. Bake at 425 for 20-30 minutes or until biscuits are fully cooked.
In a small bowl combine the melted butter and herb blend. Mix to combine and brush on top of cooked biscuits. Serve & enjoy!
