Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring a large pot of water to boil, add the frozen ravioli and cook per the package instructions. Add a drop of olive oil to the pot and stir to combine to prevent pasta from sticking. Strain the pasta once it's finished cooking and set aside. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the Italian sausage and ground beef. Cook until the meat is fully browned and there is no sign of visible pink. Drain the grease and add meat back to the skillet.
Add pasta sauce to the skillet and season with Italian seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder. Add cottage cheese or ricotta and stir to combine.
In a 7x11 deep casserole dish, place a layer of meat sauce in the bottom. Then add a single layer of ravioli, then a layer of meat sauce and sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top. Repeat this step in that order to form three layers. Top the last layer with meat sauce and a generous amount of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted. Let rest for 15 minutes and enjoy!
