In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and onions. Allow onions to sauté for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Add ground beef and Italian sausage. Cook until no pink is visible within the meat and then drain the grease.
Season the meat with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder. Salt & pepper to taste.
Add spaghetti sauce, heavy whipping cream, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Add drained tortellini and stir until combined. Sprinkle a bit more mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top and cover to allow cheese to melt. Serve and enjoy!
