Mississippi Salisbury Steak

This Mississippi Salisbury Steak is a delicious and easy Salisbury Steak recipe that features all the flavors of traditional Mississippi Pot Roast.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 box cornbread Stove Top Stuffing- Cornbread flavor
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Au Jus packet
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon pepperoncini juice
  • 3-4 pepperoncini peppers
  • ½ ranch seasoning packet
  • 3 ½ cups water

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl add the stove top stuffing and 1 cup of water, stir and allow stuffing to soak up water. Add ground beef, eggs, onion powder, garlic powder and mix with your hands until combined. Form into medium sized hamburger patties and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the patties and allow to cook 6-8 minutes on each side depending on how well-done you prefer. Once cooked to your liking, remove from skillet and set aside. Remove excess grease from the skillet.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add packet of Au Jus gravy mix, ½ packet of Ranch seasoning, and pepperoncini juice. Add 2 ½ cups of water and whisk together.
  • Add gravy mixture to skillet over medium-high heat. Add pepperoncini peppers and allow gravy to come to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Add steaks to skillet and remove from heat. Serve and enjoy!
