One Pot American Goulash

Adjust Servings6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ yellow onion diced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 15 ounces Petite Diced Tomatoes Drained
  • 3 cups Pasta Sauce
  • 2 cups elbow pasta
  • 2 ½ cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  • In a large pot over medium high heat add the olive oil, onions and bell pepper. Allow the onions and bell pepper to cook for 3-4 minutes to soften up then add in the ground beef. Cook the ground beef until no pink is visible. Add in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Drain off all the excess grease and season the meat with seasoned salt, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Pour in the diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, elbow pasta and beef broth. Stir until well combined. Bring mixture to a simmer and allow it to cook, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes or until pasta is soft. Serve & enjoy!

Notes

If the goulash seems soupy, let it sit and cool some. The excess broth will soak into the pasta.
