In a large skillet over medium-high heat add the butter and allow it to melt. Once melted add in the diced onions, bell peppers, and celery. Sauté the veggies for 7-8 minutes until they start to soften then add in the ground beef and sausage. Cook until no pink is visible within the meat and drain off any excess grease.
Season the meat mixture with Cajun seasoning, onion powder, paprika, salt and black pepper to taste. Add in the minute rice and broth. Stir to combine and cover with a lid.
Bring to a light simmer, stir occasionally, and cook until all the broth has absorbed and rice is fully cooked. Serve & enjoy!
