Oven Baked Party Ribs

These Oven Baked Party Ribs are full of fall-off-the-bone flavor! They are the perfect addition to all your summer get-togethers and can even be prepared outside on the grill!
Adjust Servings1 slab of ribs

Ingredients

  • 1 slab of baby back ribs
  • Liquid Smoke
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • BBQ Sauce

BBQ Dry Rub Ingredients

  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tablespoon paprika
  • ½ tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoons salt
  • ½ tablespoon onion powder
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Add the BBQ Rub ingredients to a small mixing bowl and whisk together until well combined and set aside. Remove ribs from packaging and pat dry. Using a paper towel to improve grip, remove the membrane from the bottom side of the rib and discard.
  • Slice the ribs into individual pieces. Using a baking sheet with rack, place the ribs on top of the rack. Drizzle a few drops of Liquid Smoke on each rib and massage it into the meat. Generously season both sides of the ribs with the BBQ dry rub and massage the seasoning into the meat.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and place ribs into a 9x13 casserole dish. Place the butter on top of the ribs and generously coat them with BBQ sauce. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  • Reduce the oven temp to 200 degrees and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Ribs should reach an internal temperature of 190-200 degrees when done.
This recipe can be used on a grill/smoker. Omit the Liquid Smoke if you decide to smoke or grill the ribs instead
