Stuffed Pepper Pasta

This Stuffed Pepper Pasta is an easy, time-saving alternative to traditional stuffed peppers.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 bell peppers diced
  • ½ yellow onion diced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 24 ounces pasta sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 cups bowtie pasta

Instructions

  • Cook pasta per package instructions. In a large hot skillet over medium high heat, add the olive oil, diced peppers and onions. Stirring occasionally, allow peppers and onions to cook until they start to soften and turn brown around the edges.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until no pink is visible. Drain off any excess grease and add minced garlic, cooking for an additional minute. Season with Italina seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper. Add jar of pasta sauce and stir until well combined. On low heat, allow meat mixture to come to a simmer.
  • Add cooked pasta and stir until combined. Serve and enjoy!
