This next step is optional, but I always do it: sprinkle some crushed vanilla wafers on top of the pudding, place butter cookies throughout and drizzle caramel syrup on top.

FAQ

How do I keep my bananas from turning brown?

-Place the fresh banana slices into a small bowl and add a small amount of lemon juice. Then mix them around until the lemon juice coats the bananas. This will help prevent them from turning brown and you will not taste the tarty lemon juice!

How do I store leftovers?

-You should store any leftovers in an airtight container stored in the refrigerator and eat within 2-3 days.

Tips

  • Be sure that you purchase instant pudding mix for this recipe because the cook and serve kind will not work.
  • This pudding is best served after letting it rest in the refrigerator for 6 hours. This will allow just enough time for the cookies to become soft.
