This Easy Banana Pudding recipe is a quick no bake recipe that is a classic southern dessert and perfect for the upcoming summertime family gatherings.
Add softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk to a large bowl and mix with an electric mixer until it has a whipped consistency.
Add the packet of French vanilla instant pudding and banana cream instant pudding along with 3 cups of cold milk. Use the electric mixer to combine until it starts to thicken and has a smooth consistency.
Add the 8-ounce tub of Cool Whip and fold it into the pudding mixture using a spatula.
In a 9x13 baking dish add a layer of vanilla wafer cookies and sliced bananas to the bottom of the dish then pour a layer of pudding on top. Repeat this step and then finish by adding a pudding layer on top.
For best results allow to chill for 6 hours prior to serving.
Notes
I like to decorate the top of my pudding with crushed vanilla wafer cookies, butter cookies and then drizzle caramel sundae syrup on top! This step is optional but if you like to decorate and want it to be pretty then I recommend it.
