Cheesy Tator Tot Casserole

This Cheesy Tator Tot Casserole recipe is an easy meal that features a cheesy ground beef mixture topped with crispy tater tots.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 ½ pound ground beef
  • ½ yellow onion diced
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 10.5 ounce cream of mushroom
  • 10.5 cheddar cheese soup
  • 15.25 ounce corn drained
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Pour frozen tater tots into 9x13 casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and diced onions and cook until no pink is visible. Drain excess grease and season with garlic powder, onion powder and pepper.
  • Add can of cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese soup and drained can of corn to the skillet. Mix to combine with the ground beef.
  • Remove tater tots from the casserole dish and pour in the ground beef mixture. Add tater tots to the top of the casserole to form a single layer. Top with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes, serve and enjoy this delicious dinner!
