Sticky Bun Casserole

This Sticky Bun Casserole features cinnamon rolls cooked to perfection in a delicious brown sugar pecan topping.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Then cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and place into a 9x13 baking dish. Pour the heavy whipping cream evenly on top of the cinnamon roll pieces.
  • In a small mixing bowl melt the butter and add the brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon. Stir to combine and then pour the mixture evenly on top of the cinnamon roll pieces.
  • Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until the cinnamon rolls are fully cooked and all the heavy whipping cream is absorbed. Let rest for 10 minutes and serve while warm. Enjoy!

Notes

Although traditional sticky buns do not have icing, feel free to pour the icing that is provided with the cinnamon rolls on top of the casserole.
